STEPS FOR INSPECTION AND REPAIR OF TRANSFORMERS

RECEIPT AND INITIAL TESTING

In the transformer repair process, upon receiving the transformer in our workshops, a series of tests and initial inspections are carried out to determine the extent of the damage.

GENERAL INSPECTION OF THE TRANSFORMER

The transformer is disassembled, and a comprehensive inspection is conducted. This includes checking the core, windings, and any regulating elements it may have. We also assess the condition of the cooling liquid through various tests to determine dielectric rigidity and parts per million of dissolved water. Once all elements have been thoroughly analyzed, we inform the client about the necessary intervention to repair the transformer, including pricing and corresponding delivery times.

ELECTRICAL TESTING

After the repair process, the transformer undergoes electrical tests as required by current regulations to determine if it is in perfect working condition.

Dry transform repair

Dry transformer repair is one of the main activities we carry out at Savda Group. For these types of repairs, we have all the necessary machinery and tools (ovens, balancers, disassembly machines, shaping machines, winding machines, test benches, etc.). All repairs conducted over our 30 years of experience are carried out according to internal specifications created with the knowledge acquired throughout our years of work.
